Bobby Griffith’s Half Marathon

Many thanks to Bobby Griffith’s for signing up for the Bristol Half Marathon on Sunday 15th Spetember 2013.

Please sponsor him.

Here are some of Bobby’s own words:

I have had an idea. As many will know I detest exercise partly because of my asthma, partly because of my chain smoking, and partly because i’m lazy. Setting aside these things I would love to run the Bristol Half Marathon in aid of the Invictus Trust which lies very close to my heart as it does to many peoples’. I know it’s not a full marathon but I don’t think I could do a full one. where as I promise you, no matter how long it takes or how much I moan I will finish! It’s in September so I have around 4 months to train and raise money.  I hope that if I can do this, I will not only astonish myself, and raise money for the trust, but also create more awareness which is never a bad thing! Not sure if i’ve left anything out, hopefully not. I’m not going to lie i’m terrified about this all, not just the running but about making a respectable amount for your charity.  Bobby Smiling face with smiling eyes x”

We think its an amazing gesture and wish him the best of luck and hope you can sponsor him. Run Bobby Run !
